Rideauwood, proud partner of Counselling Connect initiative

When in-person walk-in counselling sites shut down in response to COVID, the OHT-ESO and allied mental health and addictions service providers responded immediately; and thirteen community agencies came together to create a solution.  The result is a centralized platform where children, youth, adults and families are now be able to make appointments for free same-day or next-day 45-90 minute phone or video counselling.  This service is offered through a single website:  Counselling Connect .  “One door” to access counselling with thirteen organizations means people of all ages get the specific help they need to address stress, anxiety, substance use, gambling, relationships, adjusting to life in Canada, and more.  Find out more at  www.counsellingconnect.org
