Partnership during the Pandemic Puts Clients First

In response to in-person counselling services being put on hold due to the pandemic, Rideauwood and over a dozen other local health agencies quickly came together to develop a solution: Counselling Connect.

Counselling Connect is an online platform where residents of Ottawa and the surrounding area book appointments for same-day or next-day phone or video counselling sessions. The service is bilingual English/French, for all ages and is free of charge.

Rideauwood is proud to be one of the leaders in shaping the future of health care in our community.

Matching to Make the Season Bright

For registered charities like Rideauwood, the holiday season is an important time of year for raising money to support the people we serve. Traditionally, it’s a time of giving, of family, of sharing with those in need.

This year, Rideauwood is thrilled to have Tubman Funeral Homes at its first-ever Holiday Matching Donor. For every dollar donated to Rideauwood by December 31, 2020, the local company will match it up to $2,000.

Thank you to Tubman Funeral Homes and to those who make a donation this holiday season. We very much appreciate your kindness and generosity!
