Student Field Placements
Rideauwood offers field placement opportunities for students enrolled in counselling, social work, addictions, and other related programs. As one of the region’s most experienced organizations supporting individuals and families affected by substance use and behavioural addictions, Rideauwood provides a rich learning environment grounded in evidence-based practice and compassionate care.
Students completing placements with Rideauwood gain valuable real-world experience by observing and supporting the work of our clinical teams, developing practical skills, and deepening their understanding of addiction, recovery, and community-based support services.
A field placement with Rideauwood offers the opportunity to learn in a supportive, collaborative environment while making a meaningful contribution to the wellbeing of our community.
