Rideauwood's evidence based reviews of current literature ensure that services are specific to each client's readiness for change. Policies address different population groups to increase accessibility to programs as being sensitive to cultural differences.

. Family Member Four-day Program and Wait List Group
. Parent Education (PEAK) Program of 6 weeks
. Parent Outreach in Schools
. Teen Programs
. Young Adult Program
. Thirteen School Based Programs
. A Problem Gambling Program and Family Member Service
. Family Education Series (two evenings)
. Family of Origin Counselling (one year)
. Siblings (of teens with alcohol/drug problems) service
. Pregnant teen/young single mother Substance Abuse Day Treatment Program
. Relapse & Prevention Aftercare Group
  These programs were implemented without provincial funding, based on donations and contributions.
 
PROFESSIONAL STAFF
The organization is able to offer a broad range of expertise, solid experience and innovative vision. The ability to develop programs which respond to changing needs both benefits from longevity of staff, and contributes to it. Staff turnover is very low, ensuring continuity of service from experienced staff.
 
GOVERNANCE Rideauwood
Is a charitable organization is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors, representing the community it serves. Its elected members include professionals, former clients, business, and other interested citizens who guide the agency and ensure good stewardship, accountability, responsiveness and service quality.
